Jacqueline Janssen

Jacqueline has long been motivated by a desire for organizations, the people running them, and the people they serve to reach their full potential. “An organization and its staff will succeed with awareness, communication and the continual growth of skills, through a leader with business acumen, vision and a commitment to that possibility.”

With a family entrepreneurial background, Jacqueline Janssen founded or co-founded nine businesses, successfully negotiating the sale of six. As a young entrepreneur, at the request for help by small business owners Jacqueline founded Janssen & Associates. One of the businesses for which she worked was acquired by Lotus Development Corporation, which was acquired by IBM. Working with IBM’s Human Resource department, Jacqueline added Executive Search to her practice in 1996. Janssen & Associates grew the recruiting group to 15, to serve corporations including global organizations: IBM, AstraZeneca, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. She also provides search services to national recruiting firms.

In 2004 Jacqueline joined the Marin County Mental Health Board of Directors and began serving on other nonprofit Boards. Jacqueline was inspired by a difference a few people could make for communities. She saw that nonprofits needed good leaders and Boards of Directors needed help finding them. Growing a nascent nonprofit executive search practice for a nonprofit organization, Jacqueline placed scores of successful Executive Directors and Director level staff.

Today the Janssen & Associates Recruiting team places nonprofit and business executives. Our transition consultants conduct Organizational Assessments and Development Assessments. Jacqueline also recruits, develops, and places trained Interim Executive Directors and Interim consultants. Janssen & Associates Recruiting continues to provide services in Marin, the Bay Area and nationally.

Through request and referral, Janssen & Associates Recruiting  offers nonprofits guaranteed professional recruiting at affordable rates, with opportunities for funding sources through funders and Janssen & Associates Recruiting’s participating corporate clients.
